The Purple & White Open Tournament is an annual event that aims to raise funds for scholarships and outreach development and programming that will benefit Latino students and alumni at The University of Texas at Austin. This year we lost two founding members of the Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity - Eta Alpha Chapter and will be honoring them by remembering them through our scholarship awards.

The John T. Gonzales Entrepreneurial scholarship and the Gilberto Becerra Education scholarship will be awarded to students which exemplify drive, determination and passion for excellence in the classroom and beyond.

The tournament is organized and coordinated by Texas Purple and White Productions, a group comprised of alumni of the University of Texas at Austin.
